Privacy

Last updated 2 September 2026.

The short version: there is no account, there is nothing to sign into, and there is nothing stored here that knows who you are.

What this app doesn't do

No accounts, no sign-in, no password
No name, email address or phone number
No analytics and no tracking of any kind
No advertising, and nothing sold or shared
No payments — you pay in the shop, as always

The one thing that does get stored

If you switch Shop updates on, your phone's browser creates an anonymous address that lets the shop send a notification to that device. We keep that address, along with the date it was created and the date it was last used.

It doesn't contain your name, your number or anything else about you, and it can't be used to find out who you are or where you are. It only says this browser, on this device. Nothing else about you is kept.

Turning it off

Open More and switch Shop updates off. That deletes the address straight away and the shop can no longer reach your phone. You don't need to ask anyone or wait for anything.

Deleting the app from your home screen has the same effect.

Server logs

Like every website, the server records each request it receives — the address of the page, the time, and the IP address it came from. That is used to keep the site working and secure, it isn't linked to anything else, and it isn't used to build a picture of anyone.

Who's responsible

The Gentleman's Barbershop is responsible for this app and everything on it. It was built and is looked after by GGRY Dev, who handle the technical side on the shop's behalf.

For anything about this page, or to ask what's held and have it deleted, email hello@ggrydesign.co.uk. Since almost nothing is stored, the honest answer to "what do you have on me?" is usually "nothing at all" — but ask, and you'll get a straight answer.

Children

The shop cuts children's hair, and this app is safe for them to open: it asks for nothing, stores nothing about them, and has nothing to sign into.

If this changes

If what's stored ever changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves.
